We have made some exciting enhancements to our self-service tools:

Invoices & Documents Portlet

Through this portlet, you are able to retrieve copies of key documents directly from our My Pages site. Available documents include invoices and credit memos, order confirmations, packing notes, and quotations. You will find attached a One-Pager on how to use this new My Pages portlet.

Please share this information with any appropriate party within your organization. An authorization process was put in place to give qualifying existing users access to this portlet. If any other users in your organization need to access documents, please let us know, and we will make sure that they are set up accordingly.

Reconditioning

A new feature was added to the product detail page on My Pages to help users identify items that can be sent back for reconditioning. This new option provides you with essential information related to reconditioning services at the item level. If a solid end mill or drill can be reconditioned, you will now see it directly on the product detail page. For example, you will see on the detail page for 03029968 that it has a “Reconditionable” button below its part number. If you click on the button, you will see key details about the reconditing process of the item. Niagara end mills were not included in the scope of this first release, but they will be added to the functionality later this year.

Custom Products

Custom products are now available to order on the Seco Online Store (SOS), in addition to all Seco standard stocked items. No need to split orders anymore – all your order lines, whether standard items or specials, can be ordered electronically and mixed on one single PO. The ordering process for custom products on the SOS is very similar to the one currently used for standard items. You will find attached a short tutorial walking you through this process, so you can quickly get familiar with it.
