Seco STEP Program

Seco Technical Education Program (STEP) is a practical program designed to familiarize users with the latest tooling systems and techniques. Without an in-depth understanding of new technologies in the market, many customers find the decision-making process more and more difficult as the available range of tooling expands. Seco can help you get a competitive edge by helping your employees expand their knowledge and learn about the latest technologies.

Who should participate in the STEP program?
Courses are designed to cover customer-specific requirements so machine operators, manufacturing engineers, programmers and company owners can learn the simplest way to right correct tooling and machining strategies.

What information does STEP contain?
We can customize class styles and topics to suit customer needs. By default, STEP 1 includes 20 modules split between STEP 1 and STEP 2. STEP 1 modules provide an introduction to tooling and machining technology while STEP 2 modules look at more advanced machining techniques and tooling systems.

We also added extensive Round Tools Training, covering modules from geometry and materials to coating, speeds and feeds, tool wear analysis and applications recommendations.

Other Training Courses
In addition to STEP, Seco will host two CP3 Summits in 2019 for your salespeople who already have completed our STEP Program. A CP3 Summit is a one-day, high-level training program designed especially for our CP3 specialists.

For our Goldstar Distributors, we will continue to offer our Value Based Selling Program, focused on learning and utilizing new sales techniques.

We will communicate the dates of these additional training courses soon.
