The Younger Generation is Giving Back!

Posted in Values in June 2017

Giving back to our community has always played a big part in the lives of Seco employees. From food drives to cancer walks and adopting families for the Holidays, everyone at Seco tries their best to live our Family Spirit value on a daily basis.

On Thursday, April 27th, 2017, our Seco Troy employees shared their philanthropy at work with their “mini me” during the annual “Bring your daughters and sons to work day.” It was a fun filled day with many events incorporating this year’s national theme “Count on me.” Seco’s young ones got a chance to show their furry friends that they can count on them by putting together care packages for the Michigan Animal Rescue League (M.A.R.L) with items donated by all Seco employees. Located in Pontiac, MI, the M.A.R.L is a private, nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter serving its community since 1953. Thanks to the generous donations, we were able to provide this shelter with much needed goods from cleaning supplies to doggy treats. The kids even got to give a little TLC to their new four legged friend from the shelter! We were all really glad to see that the next generation embraces our same values, which make us who we are as a company and have led us to select great partners who share our values.
