Distributor Practices

Seco Tools accepts two types of blanket orders from its distributors: blanket orders with specific release dates and blanket orders without specific release dates, which are referred to as call off orders as the distributor will call to release shipments against these orders. Both types of blanket orders are accepted for a maximum period of six months only, whether for standard or special items, and the price in effect at the time of order acceptance does apply to all releases. When it comes to call off orders, it is important to know that remaining balance of items will automatically shipped at the end of the six months period if our distributor did not call to release them.

For more information on blanket orders, please refer to paragraph # 2.5 of our Distributor Practices.

Seco Tools offers a co-op fund program to all its Goldstar distributors in recognition of the added value they contribute to.

In an effort to align with an increased digitalization strategy for Seco Tools globally, Seco Tools North America will reimburse web advertising materials at 100% through co-op funds starting January 1, 2018. This includes banners, videos, supplier spots, landing pages, etc. Marketing on Demand flyers and brochures are also covered at 100%. All other co-op requests are reimbursed at 50%. For more details about our co-op policy and a list of qualifying expenses, please refer to paragraph # 3.7 of our Distributor Practices.
