2020 Distributor Conference Summary
Another Seco Distributor Conference in the books. We hosted over 110 partners from 70 distributors at Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, on Feb. 3rd & 4th. We spent nearly two full days networking, collaborating in various informative sessions, discussing our five year strategic vision – The Seco Story – and had a little fun along the way!
Hats off to our conference MC / MarComm Manager, Bob Heery for doing a fantastic job of keeping us on schedule while providing some comedic relief in the process. Well done! In the continued spirit of keeping our DAC members involved in strategic planning and discussion, they led breakout sessions with their respective networks during day two. The following morning, the Seco executive team met with the DAC panel to discuss feedback from each members’ session. The DAC does a great job being the conduit for the collective ‘distributor voice’, which we rely on heavily as we make forward thinking decisions. As always, we encourage your participation and feedback.
We had the chance to share what Family Spirit means to us with all our distributor attendees, through a fun team building event. Teams “suffered” through a series of tricky trivia questions but for a good cause. Each team was competing for a charity of their choice. Seco proudly donated $7,500 to St Jude and $2,500 to the American Cancer Society on behalf of the first and second place winners. Hats off to our runner ups as well as they won $1000 each to Wounded Warriors and Make a Wish. Thank you all for living our values with us!

As this article is being written in April, we’re all starkly aware of the COVID-19 pandemic that our country was thrust into shortly after this years’ conference and the effect it’s had on our industry thus far. We will look to the 2021 conference with a renewed outlook and better understanding of the overall impact this pandemic will have on our industry. We can only hope that you, your family and your associates are safe and healthy during this trying time.
Please review the full summary of our 2020 Conference for more details. The summary also includes answers to the questions we did not get a chance to address while in Vegas. Please feel free to reach out to Scott Hecht or Dave Fisher should you need any further information.
