Our very own Mary Scalise decided to retire again, and this time, it’s for real!

After first announcing her retirement alongside Lou Novacco in May 2015, Mary changed her mind and we had the pleasure of keeping her in the Seco family for another three years. This time around, however, she had her mind set. After 15 years at Seco, Mary retired at the end of June.

Mary joined Carboloy in May 2003, where she worked to support Lou Novacco and the North American Field Sales Organization. After Lou retired, Mary assisted our current director of sales, Mike Parker, before taking on a new role as corporate coordinator in June 2017. In addition to her other responsibilities, she provided further assistance to the HR Department and Seco’s Technical Education Program.

Many of you got to meet and spend time with Mary at various events, including our annual Distributor Conference, our DAC Meeting or IMTS. Mary was instrumental in helping organize these events and getting all the logistics under control.

She will be truly missed here at Seco – coming into the office every day without her warm smile greeting us from behind the front desk will just not be the same! However, we could not be happier for her and we wish her the best as she begins her next adventure.
