In today’s fast evolving market, it can be hard to keep up with the latest technologies. Seco’s STEP program aims at helping you bridge the so-called “technology gap” and increase productivity.

Our STEP program includes three main courses:

• STEP Intro / STEP 1: an introduction to tooling and machining technology, providing a comprehensive overview of the basics of metal cutting.
• STEP 2: a close look at more advanced machining techniques and tooling systems with hands-on machine demonstrations.
• Solid Round Tool Training: an extensive training on our round tools, from geometry and materials to coatings and speeds and feeds. Our technical experts also focus on tool wear analysis and applications recommendations.

For the second year, Seco will also host two CP3 Summits (one in Troy, MI and one in Reynoldsville, PA), a one-day, high-level learning event designed especially for our CP3 specialists.
