Zone Realignment

To develop a stronger, more efficient company structure, Seco has conducted a number of realignment actions affecting the Central, West Central and North Central regions. The most significant of the changes is the consolidation of the North Central Region into the Central and West Central Regions. Jeff Smith will continue to manage the West Central Regions. Dave Ladzick is currently assuming Regional Manager’s responsibilities in the Central Region, on an interim basis.

Another action taken by Seco is a reinforced focus in aerospace in the Western Zone, now led by Dave Todd. Dave, who recently relocated from the UK to Oregon, brings 38 years of experience in the metal cutting industry with him. Dave first joined Seco in 1993 as area technical sales engineer. In 2009, he joined the strategic engineering group as International Applications Expert for Aerospace, a technical role focused on supporting business development and major projects with global aerospace customers. In January 2014, Dave accepted a position as Department manager for the global applications team.

Dave’s skillset and past achievements within Seco made him the perfect fit for his new role as Zone Manager – Western Region & Aerospace. The knowledge he gained in sales and technical roles within the aerospace segment as well as the challenges faced while working aerospace customers globally will be a great asset for the Western Zone and the development of aerospace business in NAFTA.
